What are the Four Habits of a Disciple?

|
As I have the last few weeks, I'm going to share some more that we learned in a study we participated in with our church. Below are the four habits of a disciple. Next week I'll begin going into more detail on each of the below 4 Habits.

Habit One: Daily Time with God
"If you continue in my Word then you are my disciples indeed. And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free." John 8:31-32

Habit Two: Prayer
"If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, then you will ask for anything you wish, and you shall have it. In this way, you become My disciples." John 15:7-8

Habit Three: Honoring God thru Giving Money
"None of you can be my disciple unless he gives up all of his possessions." Luke 14:33

Habit Four: Fellowship
"Love each other just as much as I love you. Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples." John 13:34-35

Those are great. Thanks for sharing those.

I thought of you the other day as I was reading in Genesis about Noah. I thought of your Friday quizes and wondered if you had ever use the question of how many animals did Noah take onto the ark. Most people would think one pair (two of each kind) but did you know it is actually seven pairs. The extra six pairs were for sacrifice and food. I never knew that. Not sure how I missed that.
