I first want to say "THANK YOU" to everyone that commented on my Thankful Thursday post offering encouraging words, support, and most of all, your prayers. With each comment I read that day, I felt more and more uplifted and confident that, regardless of the diagnosis, it would all be okay. It was in God's hands and I had support from so very many. Thank you all!
Now, it's time for some praising! I went back in this afternoon for a 2nd mammogram and the report was that everything is A-OK! What the radiologist saw on Monday was a calcium buildup and there is no need at all for concern. I thought they might even want to see me sooner than in a year, but nope, there's no reason to go back in until next summer.
This week has shown me many things for which I am thankful. To mention a couple, I have been reminded of how supporting ALL my Christian brothers and sisters are and how they are ALWAYS there for me and my family. I've been reminded that when I completely turn it all over to God that He does provide the comfort and peace that we so desire. And, I've also been reminded what I loving and supportive husband God has given to me. He's been by my side all week. He's a rock and provided nothing but calm and loving support.
Thanks again for all your prayers and encouragement. I don't think I could ever truly express in words how much it means to me to know that you are all so incredibly supportive.
