"Thy word is a lamp to my feet, And a light unto my path". Psalm 119:105 NIV

I am so thankful for God's Word. Over the last 2-3 months, I have begun digging into God's Word more than I had in several years. One of the reasons I started this blog was to write down what I found in God's Word and how it spoke to me. My blog was a way to think and process the scripture as I had to actually put down in words what the scripture was conveying. It also has served as a type of accountability for me to ensure that I don't let my time in God's Word fall by the wayside.

An added benefit to this, for which I am also so very thankful for, are all the bloggers I have met as I've begun this "blogging journey". I am so blessed as I read comments that are left and as I visit around to all of your blogs. I had no idea this would turn into such a special part of blogging.... especially since I started it more as an aide for me in my personal journey.

As I think more on God's Word and all that I gain from such a treasure, I'm reminded of the song "Thy Word".

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.

When I feel afraid,
And think Ive lost my way.
Still, you're there right beside me.
Nothing will I fear
As long as you are near;
Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.

I will not forget
Your love for me and yet,
My heart forever is wandering.
Jesus by my guide,
And hold me to your side,
And I will love you to the end.

Nothing will I fear
As long as you are near;
Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet
And a light unto my path.
And a light unto my path.
Youre the light unto my path.

God is using you Mary to encourage others. I am thankful also for bloggers who have prayed for my family. It is so great to receive encouraging words from people all over. When I see the comments on how they are continuing to pray for us and tell me ....it does wonders for my heart. God knows just when to send someone into your life just when you need them.
Thanks for sharing today!
Bless you my friend!
